Fiduciary Services
As a fiduciary, we operate in your company’s best interest - always.
- Two levels of fiduciary support: 3(21), 3(38).
- Flexibility to adapt to needs of plan sponsor as well as regulatory changes.
Plan Sponsor Integration
Helping you choose the right plan for your business and your employees.
- Develop and adhere to a plan Investment Policy Statement.
- Review your plan. This is generally twice annually.*
- Provide ongoing support and availability by phone, fax, email or any other appropriate correspondence.

Record Keeper & Plan Custodian Management
You want to make sure that your employees have the plan that’s right for them and right for your business.
- Evaluations of ongoing cost structure, fund offering relative to peer group, evaluation of participant service support and end client experience (investment and other related support is covered by fiduciary capability cited above).
- Ongoing evaluations of top providers for plans with assets in line with client/prospect to help remain competitive and ahead of curve.
- Open and continuous communication between Salus and plan record-keeper/custodian to ensure that plan and participants are getting maximum satisfaction.
- RFP, as needed, to formally evaluate change in custodian.
Participant Integration
Onboarding your employees to the company’s plan can be tough.
- Continuous plan participant support by phone, email, fax or any other appropriate correspondence.
- Dedication of two days per quarter to allow for one-on-one in-person consultation*.

Communication Support
Once you have the plan for your company and employees, Salus will help you effectively communicate the plan on an ongoing basis.
- Support of plan initiatives in participant’s best interests, by helping to communicate any and all plan related nuances; i.e. message to update beneficiaries, etc.
Education
It’s important to keep your company and employees up-to-date with all facets of your plan and financial options.
- An annual education seminar on benefits of 401k plan investment*.
- Continuous communication on the importance of taking advantage of employer matching.
- Communication with terminated plan participants with remaining balances to educate them on their options.
- Flexible tailoring of information to support customized, individual participant needs.
